What does all day coverage mean?

All day coverage is a documented experience of your wedding in its entirety. We will be there from makeup and hair being done all through dancing with family and friends. If we began the day at 9 in the morning and your sparkler exit is at 11 in the evening. We will be there! (Scroll to the bottom for more)

Why do you go to the rehearsal?

Attending the rehearsal is a very important part of us being there for our clients and being fully prepared for the next day. We scout locations that will have the best light at different times of day for bridal party photos, family photos and sunset photos. Its also a perfect time to meet the important people in your life that will be at the wedding. When we make those connections the day before, us arriving the next morning is seamless and everyone already knows who we are.

How long does it take to get our photos?

We ask for 90 days to deliver photos and our contract says the same. However, we have never been longer than 4 weeks in delivering a wedding. Editing a wedding is not something we rush, but it is something we schedule around to get your images back to you as soon as possible.

How do we book with you and how far out should we book?

Click on our contact page and send us your information. A $750 deposit is due at booking to hold your date. When we receive the deposit your day is locked in and we are yours! Anything you need with the planning or any advice needed, we are a message or phone call away.

How long are “normal” sessions?

For Engagement, Senior, Family, Maternity, and other smaller sessions we do not set a time limit for the shoot. We usually start around 1.5-2 hours before sunset and shoot until we are happy. We don’t want you to feel like you have to check your watch to see how much time you have left.

  • Absolutely! Your dogs/animals are part of your family! Fur babies are always welcome for any session.

  • We keep and backup all delivered photos indefinitely. The back ups are stored off site. The downloadable galleries that are up now, go back over 2 years. If a gallery link comes down from our site and you want to access the images again, we will reupload them as soon as possible.

  • We shoot on Nikon Z6ii’s. Nikons newest mirrorless cameras. I have 2 on me the entire day, and my wife also carries the same camera. These cameras allow for photos to be stored on 2 memory cards at one time, ensuring if there is a memory card failure, we are covered with back ups.

  • It definitely wasn’t intentional. We were shooting and posting our family and senior photos on social media. A bride reached out and asked if we would shoot her wedding. I declined, thinking she was crazy for considering us. She did not take no for an answer. Between her and my wife they convinced me to say yes. My wife had been a wedding coordinator for years, so she took on the role of assisting me for the day. All I had to do was work the camera. We both loved it and the rest is history. Thank you Katie Castanos for not taking no for an answer!

More on why we shoot all day…

The photos below are an example of why we photograph all day. There is roughly 14 hours from when the first 3 photos were taken to the last 3 photos. Both photo sets help tell the story of your wedding from start to finish. Yes, the last three could be considered “better” photos but the first 3 tell the story of the day from the very beginning. Years from now the bride and groom can look back on these photos and see their friends playing cards in the lobby, the brides father taking down the giant tents that were set up just in case of rain. The dense and heavy fog that morning before the sun came out. Of course the “awesome” photos are important to, but just as important is capturing memories. Your wedding day will go by in the blink of an eye, we want you to remember all of it from beginning to end.
